Who is responsible for this site?

This policy covers lagoslifewiki.com, an independent fan guide maintained by its site publisher. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions and requests. It does not cover the official game or other websites linked from our guides.

What information is collected and why?

  • Hosting and security: Cloudflare processes request information such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser information and security signals to deliver the site, protect it and diagnose errors.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 loads with the page and receives page and event information, browser and device information, approximate location derived from network information, referral information and cookie identifiers. We use aggregate reports to improve guides and navigation. We do not intentionally send comment emails or comment text to Analytics.
  • Comments: The comments interface loads automatically. If you submit a comment, our Waline-compatible service on Cloudflare Workers and D1 stores your nickname, email, comment text, page URL, timestamps, moderation state and reply relationships. Likes and rate limiting use a salted hash derived from IP information, rather than publishing your IP address. Your nickname and submitted comment are public; your email is available to administrators and is not shown as plain text publicly.
  • Contact: When you email support, we receive your sender address, message and any attachments you choose to send, to handle your request.
  • Advertising: If Google AdSense ads are served, Google and its partners may process identifiers, IP and device information, page context and ad interactions to provide, measure and protect advertising, and to personalize it where permitted and consented to.

Which cookies and browser storage are used?

Google Analytics may set _ga and related cookies when pages load. Google’s advertising services may use cookies, local storage or similar identifiers when ads are served. Cookies may be set by Google or its partners, not only this website. Browser settings can block or delete cookies; deleting cookies or site data may reset saved preferences.

The comments client may keep form preferences in browser storage. Comments resources load automatically on pages with a discussion section.

How can you manage tracking?

Google Analytics loads automatically when you visit this site. We do not currently provide an on-site analytics consent or withdrawal control. You can block or delete cookies and scripts through your browser settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. These controls do not erase information previously received by providers.

This site does not currently provide a Google European regulations consent message. You can manage Google ad personalization through Google My Ad Center, and use browser settings to block advertising cookies or scripts.

Which service providers receive information?

  • Cloudflare: website hosting, DNS, security, comment storage and forwarding email sent to our support address.
  • Google: Analytics, AdSense, Google Fonts delivery, and the inbox that receives support email.
  • unpkg: delivery of the comments client, stylesheet and emoji assets when the comments interface loads.
  • Gravatar / Automattic: comment avatars use a hash of the supplied email address. Loading avatar images shares that hash and request information with the avatar service. A hash is not a guarantee of anonymity.

These providers may process information in countries different from yours, according to their own terms and safeguards. Ordinary external links do not transfer your comment data, but visiting another site subjects your visit to its policy.

Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy, Google’s privacy policy, how Google uses information from partner sites, and Automattic’s privacy policy.

How is information retained and protected?

Comments and associated administrative records are retained while the discussion remains useful, unless removed through moderation or a verified request. Support correspondence is kept as needed to resolve the request and maintain relevant records. Hosting logs, backups and Google service data have their own service settings and retention periods; we do not claim that all providers erase data immediately when a visible comment is removed.

Administrator access is restricted, traffic uses HTTPS, and the comments service applies input filtering and rate limits. New comments are published immediately and administrators can hide or delete inappropriate comments. No system can promise absolute security. Please avoid posting personal or sensitive information.

What rights can you exercise?

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict information, object to processing, withdraw consent or complain to a relevant privacy authority. Send requests to [email protected], preferably from the email address associated with the record. We verify requests proportionately and handle them according to applicable requirements; we cannot directly delete information held in your official game account.

We do not sell contact messages or comment emails. Google advertising can involve disclosures that are regulated as selling or sharing in some jurisdictions; use Google My Ad Center and browser privacy controls rather than treating this statement as a blanket denial of every advertising disclosure.

What about children and policy changes?

This site’s game guides are intended for adults; the official game requires players to be at least 18. We do not knowingly solicit personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

We update this policy when services or data practices change. The update date at the top identifies the current version.
